Your knowledge of Art is not as important as your “business savvy” combined with a degree of “class” and “style”.
You need to be first and foremost a very astute business person with a great love and lust for the finer things in life. Your knowledge of the retail business and – preferably- past experience of e-commerce should be complimented by your sense of taste for display, marketing and advertising and your great people skills and salesmanship.
